Decided to welcome summer by adventuring to some of Florida’s natural springs.
I was accompanied by the very lovely Lia Maree Hardy.

Ideal Celebrity Cruise: Southern Caribbean
What’s better than the warm Caribbean sun beating down on your face? How about paired with an ice cold tropical drink in your hand? Celebrity Cruises can make that all possible when you book a Caribbean Cruise vacation. With the Southern Caribbean destinations, the possibilities are endless. Each island holds the perfect day for everybody. Whether you’re lounging in crystal clear waters or zip-lining above mountain tops- this vacation is one for the books.
Leaving out of San Juan, Puerto Rico:
There’s nothing like kicking off your vacation in a colorful port filled with so much history and culture. The cobblestone roads and old Spanish colonial buildings take you back in time, emerging you into the rich Puerto Rican culture. San Juan never fails to inspire me- I always find myself dancing in the streets and trying many of the islands diverse signature plates.
Destination 1: St. Thomas:
After a night of sailing, waking up to the sapphire waters of St. Thomas will be sure to take your breath away. These scenes reassure you that you are officially on vacation. In port you’re able to shop till you drop and taste the variety of local flavors. Should you venture deep into the mountainous terrain, you’ll find the numerous hidden beaches that are hidden gems to this beautiful island. However, beware of the other hidden gems that may be walking amongst your toes: iguanas!
Destination 2:Â Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis:
After a long day of basking in the sunshine of St. Thomas, an ideal destination for the next stop would be Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. Discover French and British heritage while coming across some of the most mesmerizing views of your entire life. This charming island features Timothy Hill: a lookout point where you can see the island dividing the Atlantic Ocean on the left and the Caribbean Sea on the right. Dormant volcanoes and rugged mountains make hiking ideal, challenging your more adventurous side. No matter what paths you may stumble across, every view will be worth it.
Destination 3: St. John’s, Antigua:
I’ve chosen the next destination, Antigua, as a day for relaxing and recovering. I see myself strolling down the colorful streets and checking out all of the local stores. Amongst my stroll, I discover a tree blooming with beautiful tropical flowers- you must always stop to smell the flowers! Maybe I’ll find myself sipping on a warm cup of local coffee, tasting the blend of Caribbean flavors. Antigua is the perfect place to bask in the moment, take a step back and just relax.
Destination 4: St. Lucia:
My final destination would have to be St. Lucia. This is my all-time favorite island, ideal for anyone looking for the ultimate adventure. With a bright and early start, you’re immediately greeted by the famous landmark, the Pitons (two twin peaks towering over 2,000 ft). This port is the perfect end to my list due to its diversity. You can find yourself immersed in the lush jungles, lost in the miles of banana plantations or submerged and relaxing in one of the several warm sulfuric pools. St. Lucia offers the ultimate adventure and takes you away from reality. The perfect end to a Southern Caribbean Cruise.

photographing my professors art show
In life you meet people who were destined to be apart of your life for some specific reason. I’ve encountered quite a few of those people- Dustin Harewood being one of them. Harewood is my Art Professor and has pushed be to grow artistically in ways I could never imagine. I’m producing work that far exceeds any artistic abilities I thought I had. On top of that, he’s such a heavy supporter of the local art community, particularly with young people.
Upon the reveal of his art show, he came to me in hopes of capturing these monumental moments. With no hesitation, I agreed. I was happy to, not only capture parts of this night for him, but to be apart of it all. To me, it was such an honor.
If you’d like to check out more of his work, here’s his website:

Made a spur of the moment road trip with Alexa and Lia with one intention in mind: stargazing. We brought along some pumpkins from Halloween and decided to smash them with a baseball bat until the sun set- it was extremely therapeutic. Upon night fall, we were blessed with skies of black velvet and diamonds. I was lucky enough to even capture the Milky Way Galaxy with a long exposure.
