On Friday, January 29th, Joshua and I decided to venture to the Jacksonville Zoo. Our zoo held a special offer that made the tickets only $5 that day- pretty much a college kids’ dream. This was our first time visiting this zoo together and we definitely had the time of our lives.
I think we spent about 20 minutes with the lions just trying to communicate with them and make eye contact. At the end of the day, they’re just big kitties.
Keel-billed Toucan

Joshua and I found the gorillas to be the most interesting. It’s memorizing to observe their actions and realize how similar they are to humans. In this photograph a mother gorilla is giving her baby a piggy-back ride.
Absolutely stunning photos!! I can’t decide which one I love most…….
